The BeRMuDa TriAnGL3~

Map of the popularly-held dimensions of the Bermuda Triangle; recent claims by researchers allude to a more "trapezium" shape, extending back into the Gulf of Mexico and down into the Caribbean Sea, or in fact no dimensions at all, and a shape incorporating all of the northwestern Atlantic Ocean.

The "Bermuda or Devil's Triangle" is an imaginary area located off the southeastern Atlantic coast of the United States, which is noted for a high incidence of unexplained losses of ships, small boats, and aircraft. The apexes of the triangle are generally accepted to be Bermuda, Miami, Fla., and San Juan, Puerto Rico.In the past, extensive, but futile Coast Guard searches prompted by search and rescue cases such as the disappearance of a flight of five TBM Avengers shortly after take off from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., or the traceless sinking of USS Cyclops and Marine Sulphur Queen have lent credence to the popular belief in the mystery and the supernatural qualities of the "Bermuda Triangle."Countless theories attempting to explain the many disappearances have been offered throughout the history of the area. The most practical seem to be environmental and those citing human error. The majority of disappearances can be attributed to the area's unique environmental features. First, the "Devil's Triangle" is one of the two places on earth that a magnetic compass does point towards true north. Normally it points toward magnetic north. The difference between the two is known as compass variation. The amount of variation changes by as much as 20 degrees as one circumnavigates the earth. If this compass variation or error is not compensated for, a navigator could find himself far off course and in deep trouble.An area called the "Devil's Sea" by Japanese and Filipino seamen, located off the east coast of Japan, also exhibits the same magnetic characteristics. It is also known for its mysterious disappearances.Another environmental factor is the character of the Gulf Stream. It is extremely swift and turbulent and can quickly erase any evidence of a disaster. The unpredictable Caribbean-Atlantic weather pattern also plays its role. Sudden local thunder storms and water spouts often spell disaster for pilots and mariners. Finally, the topography of the ocean floor varies from extensive shoals around the islands to some of the deepest marine trenches in the world. With the interaction of the strong currents over the many reefs the topography is in a state of constant flux and development of new navigational hazards is swift.Not to be under estimated is the human error factor. A large number of pleasure boats travel the waters between Florida's Gold Coast and the Bahamas. All too often, crossings are attempted with too small a boat, insufficient knowledge of the area's hazards, and a lack of good seamanship.The Coast Guard is not impressed with supernatural explanations of disasters at sea. It has been their experience that the combined forces of nature and unpredictability of mankind outdo even the most far fetched science fiction many times each year.We know of no maps that delineate the boundaries of the Bermuda Triangle. However, there are general area maps available through the Distribution Control Department, U.S. Naval Oceanographic Office, Washington, D.C. 20390. Of particular interest to students if mysterious happenings may be the "Aeromagnetic Charts of the U.S. Coastal Region," H.O. Series 17507, 15 sheets. Numbers 9 through 15 cover the "Bermuda Triangle."Interest in the "Bermuda Triangle" can be traced to (1) the cover article in the August 1968 Argosy, "The Spreading Mystery of the Bermuda Triangle", (2) the answer to a letter to the editor of the January 1969 Playboy, and (3) an article in August 4, 1968 I, "Limbo of Lost Ships", by Leslie Lieber. Also, many newspapers carried a December 22, 1967 National Geographic Society news release which was derived largely from Vincent Gaddis' Invisible Horizons: True Mysteries of the Sea (Chilton Books, Philadelphia, 1965. OCLC# 681276) Chapter 13, "The Triangle of Death", in Mr. Gaddis' book, presents the most comprehensive account of the mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle. Gaddis describes nine of the more intriguing mysteries and provides copious notes and references. Much of the chapter is reprinted from an article by Mr. Gaddis, "The Deadly Bermuda Triangle", in the February 1964 Argosy. The article elicited a large and enthusiastic response from the magazine's readers. Perhaps the most interesting letter, which appeared in the May 1964 Argosy's "Back Talk" section, recounts a mysterious and frightening incident in an aircraft flying over the area in 1944.

Now is week six already..Next week is last week already cause this semester is just a short semester, all schedule double~ adoi~~~and + + - - I think just one or two times only that I'm punctual to my class..-_-!! 8a.m. wor~~This morning, again I'm late to my lecture class..3 hour lecture, starting at 8a.m. till 11a.m..Alarm tone-The Veronicas-4ever~snooze every 5 minute starting at 7.30 but what to do~always pick up and close it~till my fellow friend called, also close it -_-"" Alarm is for what if can't make peoples wake..Suddenly, I remember that today need to pass up 'pick home' test, have to wake up also~the toilet is cold, water is freezing, I'm shaking, physically and mentally..Then at last, I reach UTAR, but is at 9.30a.m. walking unsightly unlike a student, entering the hall..Hehe 9.30 til 10a.m. is rest time, half hour some more -_-!! what a nice scheduled by me..In the hall, cant find any of my friends, phoned them just know they are having breakfast, so went to find them..Without knowing what is teaches today and the attendance are taken..Hehe free hour~
I'm not lazy..frankly~but 8a.m. lecture, -_-''-_-''-_-'' give ya all 3 ''.. I really can't wake up and be punctual..Never mind if I'm late, as long as i have the heart to go~ Next week is week 7~last week fot this semester~I'l try to be punctual >.< HoHoHoO~

The year is After Colony (AC) 195, and after long years of war over rights to indepedence, the Earth based government has seized full hold of the colonies. In an effort to free themselves, rebel forces from five of the colonies send five young men in five powerful Gundams to Earth in order to combat the Earth Sphere Alliance and the secret organization responsible for their misery, OZ (Organization of Zodiac). Trained to be mercenaries, the five fifteen year old boys, Heero, Duo, Trowa, Quatre and Wufei, begin a desperate battle to uncover and destroy OZ, only to find that the situation was not as straightforward as once thought. In the midst of it all, one of OZ's top pilots, the mysterious Zechs Merquise, is fighting a private war of his own to right the wrongs in his own past. And in and out of the center of conflict, one young girl named Relena Darlian is struggling to find her way and help settle the war with as little loss to either side as possible. There is no real good or evil; only each man or woman's perspective on war and how mankind should live in order to further its own existence.

Gundam Seed~

A conflict which started between the Earth Alliance [aka Naturals] and Zaft [aka Coordinators], which started because of economic troubles was clearly undecided. The two sides had no other choice, and war broke out. 11 months after this war started is when the timeline of Gundam SEED all begins. Heliopolis; a colony which is a 'neutral' colony was dragged into the war while Earth hid their secret mobile suits here. ZAFT mobile suit force raids Heliopolis and thus capturing all but 1 of the Gundams. This series is truely one that has interesting twists and turns and seems to always have new things that will hit you out of no where. Character deveolpement is something that Gundam Seed seems to have plenty of... the characters are involved in various relationships and seem to not care about 'fighting' in general compared to some other series.




Gundam Seed Destiny~
Gundam Seed Destiny takes place in Cosmic Era 73. By now, the war that had taken place in Gundam Seed has been long ended and new characters are appearing taking the role of the nemesis. Athrun has left ZAFT and a new counterpart appears. His name is Shin Asuka, and he is one of the leading characters in the series. Athrun is now a part of Orb along with Cagalli.
However, there are a new leader on Zaft-Gilbert Dullindal which have plan to conquere both Naturals and Coordinators by introducing 'Destiny Plan', using the power of Shin Asuka which are in Zaft military. Lacus Clyne which found out the real fact of this plan, trying to stop it. Together with ArchAngle and Orb's Force. The war has begin once again and Kira and Athrun back in battle with their new upgraded mobile suit (Freedom and Justice) fighting against Zaft's elit Shin Asuka and Rey Za Burrel (Destiny and Legend gundam). Many new mecha in this new episode..

GUNDAM X

Fifteen years ago, those living in Outer Space went to war with people still on Earth. During the battles of the 7th Space War, it was found that certain human beings had a mysterious arcane ability, powers of the mind to control and forsee. These gifted people were called Newtypes. They were valuable to both sides of the war; the Earth Federation designed the Flash System which allowed a Newtype pilot to control a horde of unmanned MS, called Bit-Mobile Suits. This was an effective weapon, but sacrificed the lives of many Newtypes. Space fought back for principal, believing the effect of living in Space heightened every human ability and eventually created the prized power of a Newtype, who was not something to use as a tool for war. But in the end, mankind was its own downfall. During the final battle, the Space Revolution Army (SRA) crashed numerous colonies into the planet Earth, with a devastating effect. Millions upon millions died as a result of the colony drop. Those that were fortunate enough to find refuge in a Shelter were both blessed and cursed; they wouldn't see the sun again for four years. The rest that made it through had to endure and suffer with living on a ruined planet, plagued by an endless winter and an ever-changing, chaotic atmosphere. With that, the war had ended-- for now. But everyone who continued to live on was possessed by that tragic war, and the word "Newtype"... The year is After War 0015, and life on Earth is finally on its way to creating a more perfect world, except for the ruthless mercenaries who use mobile suits to make a living raiding; called Vultures, some of these people are merely chasing money, while others are running from the past. Enter 15 year old Garrod Ran, an orphen of the war. He is a lively, rambunctious and friendly boy who is trying to survive in the wake of the war, living off his daring-do's and knowledge of MS. Because of this, Garrod is hired by a smartly dressed, and secretly ambitious, businessman, Rantu Aiko, for a dangerous mission: to rescue a kidnapped girl from a Vulture ship, called the Freeden, and its hard, stoic captain, Jamil Neate. Sneaking aboard, Garrod manages to find the girl, Tiffa, as well as a little prize for himself, namely a relic from the war, a G-con control for a Mobile Suit....

Anticipating an extraterrestrial invasion, Earth's feudal lords organize militias armed with cars and biplanes to do battle with the Moonrace's army of giant two-legged war machines. Caught in the middle of this war of the worlds is a youth named Loran Seack, who finds a mysterious artifact - a relic of Earth's forgotten space age - entombedin stone. Will this ancient mobile suit enable Loran to avert the conflict and make peace between Earth and moon?
